As a testament to the fact that Jay Wright and his staff are always recruiting, this interesting blurb on shooting guard Sherrod Wright came as a surprise to us.
Mount Vernon senior wing Sherrod Wright did not sign early and will wait until April. Mount Vernon coach Bob Cimmino says South Carolina, Villanova and Marquette are Wright’s top three suitors, but Wright also mentioned Virginia, UMass and Oklahoma State.
Wright is a 6'4" 190lb and plays for Mount Vernon HS (NY).
4. DWAYNE's FOOT
Dwayne Anderson saw some action in last night's game but was pulled and seen limping and feeling pain. Jay Wright said, "He started to feel a little pain. We have to figure out if it's just soreness."
