WVsports.com is reporting that Class of 2010 Power Forward Markus Kenendy is set for an official visit to Villanova next Friday, April 24th.
The 6'9" philly native made a visit to West Virginia last week and will make a decision following his trip to the Main Line.
Kennedy has recently played for St. Patrick's in Elizabeth, NY but transferred to APEX Academies last year. According to recruiting analyst, Jerry Meyer, Markus is "a wide body with great hands. He can bang down low with the best of them and also make the skilled play." In last weekend's High-Profile Boo Williams AAU Tournament, Kennedy playing for Team Final scored 29 points in one game.
Scout.com reported that his hands "seemingly catch everything" and "althugh he lacks lift, he used his size, frame and soft touch to score around the rim."
"He's crafty inside and even used a sweet right jump hook on the block."
