Fisher & Wayns Go International

Corey Fisher has been selected by Wisconsin head coach and Bo Ryan and Jim Boeheim to participate for the United States in World University Games according to Adam Zagoria and confirmed by US Basketball.

The 25th iteration of the wordwide sports festival will be in Belgrade, Serbia in early July.

Incoming freshman Maalik Wayns, has been selected to attend the training camp for the 2009 FIBA U-19 World Championships that will be held in Auckland, NZ. The camp will begin on June 16th at the US Olympic Center in Colorado Springs.

Wayns was a part of the US national team that finished second in the FIBA Americas U18 Championship last summer.
