Mouphtaou Yarou's sophomore year saw notable improvements for the big man from his freshman campaign. It was also his first full season as a Villanova wildcat after his 2009-10 campaign was shortened by a bout of hepatitis that lasted for much of the season.
In the coming season, Yarou will be one of only two returning starters for the Wildcats along with Maalik Wayns. As a junior, he will be relied upon to provide leadership as well as a strong presence in the paint.
