Behind stellar efforts from Dominic Cheek and Mouphtaou Yarou (both registered career-highs in points tonight), the Villanova Wildcats defeated the Monmouth Hawks by the score of 106-70 tonight at The Pavilion. Here's the recap from ESPN along with the box score.

Monmouth started the game well while 'Nova did not, but midway through the first half, behind 20 first half points from Cheek, the 'Cats began to pull away.

It was much of the same story in the second period as others began to get involved, helping 'Nova to extend the lead to 30 and 40 points for the rest of the game. This marked the first time since 2003 that 'Nova has topped the 100 point mark (at least according to the Athletic Dept. - I feel like it's happened since then).
