Selection Sunday Open Thread: Where Will Villanova Land?

Stay connected for news and updates

NEW YORK, NY - MARCH 08: Head coach Jay Wright of the Villanova Wildcats gestures from the bench late in the game against the South Florida Bulls during the first round of the 2011 Big East Men's Basketball Tournament presented by American Eagle Outfitters at Madison Square Garden on March 8, 2011 in New York City. The brackets won't be released until tonight, but I thought it'd be a fun exercise to try and predict where the Villanova Wildcats will land. Most bracketologists have the 'Cats landing at either an 8, 9, or 10 seed currently. SB Nation's resident bracket-master Chris Dobbertean has Villanova as a 10-seed in his latest bracketology.

So let's do this - predict what region, seed and opponent you think Villanova will get when the brackets are released, and let's leave the thread open to discuss any other Selection Sunday related items as well!

I'll start - I think Villanova is going to get a 9-seed, be placed in the East Region and get the Florida St. Seminoles.

What do you think?
