Corey Fisher To Have An MRI On His Knee

Stay connected for news and updates

Corey Fisher will undergo an MRI procedure to determine possible damage on his knee, which has been bothersome all year according to Jay Wright.

"He's got a deep thigh bruise, which is bothersome, so he's ben struggling a little bit," coach Jay Wright said. "But he's also had a nagging injury in his knee all year. We thought it was tendonitis. We still think it's tendonitis, but we want to get it checked and just to try to clear his head."

Apparently, Corey Stokes wasn't the only one to struggle with injuries this year, although Fisher's have not been as public.

Regarding Fisher's lingering injuries, Wright said, "I think it's starting to wear on him. He's thinking, 'It's my senior year ,and I have to deal with this. We're not playing well.' I think that's wearing on him a little bit. . . . I thought he played well against Notre Dame fighting through it."

Can it get any worse? Why yes it can.
