Villanova Loses Regular Season Finale

The Providence men's lacrosse team was seeking their first ever BIG EAST conference victory and found it today at the hands of a Villanova who was an NCAA Bubble Team before the game.

Following a 6-6 score at halftime, the Friars outscored 'Nova in the second half 9-5 en route to a 15-11 victory. Kevin Cunningham, Will Casertano, and Jack Rice each scored 2 goals for the Wildcats as Villanova drops to 8-6 on the season (4-2 in the BIG EAST).

Mike Corrado's squad will next take on Syracuse on Thursday, May 3rd at Villanova Stadium in the BIG EAST Men's Lacrosse Semifinals.
