Kevin Garcia Selected By New England Revolution In 2012 MLS Supplemental Draft

Villanova men's soccer player Kevin Garcia has been drafted by the New England Revolution of the MLS in the 2012 MLS Supplemental Draft. Garcia was selected in the 3rd round of the draft. Garcia was a co-captain this past season for 'Nova.

In 4 seasons at Villanova, Garcia scored 6 goals and made 73 career starts, including 20 this past season, one of the most successful in the program's history where the defense recorded a record 9 shutouts.

Kevin Garcia is just the 3rd player from Villanova to be drafted by an MLS franchise, joining Jim Curtin (Chicago, 2000) and Mike Seamon (Seattle, 2010).
