Nova Alum Chris Walker may be Texas Tech chief soon

According to ESPN's Andy Katz, the Villanova alum and twice assistant coach to both Steve Lappas and Jay Wright at his alma mater is now a leading candidate to become the head coach of Texas Tech. Chris Walker left Villanova to return to his home state and become a top assistant to Billy Gillespie, who resigned earlier this fall over health issues and a scandal over whether he broke NCAA practice rules.
