The Day Tailgating Died

13

This September 1988 issue of the Villanovan shows a number of major turning points in Villanova's history, both athletically and as an academic institution. Tailgating was cancelled for students due to state laws regarding underage drinking; the wrestling program was given the axe; and the fine arts programs were also cut from the academic offerings as Fr. Edmund Dobbin was introduced as President. (h/t - BarneyRubble)
