Late first half goal sinks Villanova.
After defeating Seton Hall in the first round of the BIG EAST Men's Soccer Tournament, the Villanova Men's Soccer squad found themselves traveling north to Storrs to take on Connecticut in the Quarterfinals of the conference tournament on Sunday. Sadly, 'Nova will be returning to the Main Line without the victory.
Both teams traded sharp first half opportunities, but the Huskies score the match's lone goal in the 40th minute.
The Wildcats schedule is now complete.Tom Carlin's squad will now sit back and hope that their 12-6-2 record is good enough to get an at-large bid in the NCAA College Cup which will be announced on November 12th.
