As the expectations rise each year for the Villanova men's lacrosse program, so do the expectations for the incoming recruiting classes. Today, head coach Mike Corrado announced the 11 athletes who will join the team for the 2012-2013 academic year. The class of 2016 consists of 3 attackmen, 4 midfielders, 3 defensemen, and 1 goalie. After a disappointing end to the season last year, this group will certainly be a factor in hopefully returning to the NCAA Tournament.
Coach Corrado, in regards to this class, said: "Our coaching staff is extremely excited to welcome the Class of 2016 to the Villanova Lacrosse family and university community. Each one of these student-athletes is exceptional both on the field and in the classroom and we're looking forward to their arrival on campus in August."
