Ex-VIllanova forward Markus Kennedy will not only play in the same conference as the Wildcats when he makes his Southern Methodist debut in the 2013-2014 season, but he will also be playing for one of Jay Wright's closest friends in Larry Brown. Kennedy made his transfer official by enrolling at SMU, who will not become a member of the Big East until the 2013-2014 season.

Markus averaged 3 points and 4.4 rebounds per game as a freshman for Nova and he looked like he had a bright future on the Main Line. It will be interesting to see the reception he gets should SMU play at Nova in a few seasons.
