Villanova Not Cut From Jordan's List

ZagsBlog.com reports that elite Philadelphia guard Rysheed Jordan is still considering Villanova afterall.

We thought that Villanova was out of the running and that Rysheed Jordan would choose from a final five schools of UCLA, Maryland, Temple, Syracuse and Rutgers. Well, that was a little premature, it seems. Jordan visited St. John's over the weekend, according to reports, and it seems that his recruitment is still more wide open than was previously believed.

According to ZagsBlog.com, his coach from Vaux Roberts High School, Jamie Ross, said that he is still considering Villanova, Temple and Xavier along with Texas A&M, UCLA, Alabama, Oklahoma State and others. He reportedly had a good visit at the Queens-based St. John's.

"He's still open he's still lstening to what coaches have to say," Ross said. "He's one of the most humble kids that I've known, especially with his type of talent.

"He'll be respectful to everybody and sit down with his family and his other guys and make a decision and lay eveything out on the table."

Jordan may not commit until the Spring, following in the path of a number of elite recruits recently.
