Rysheed Jordan Cuts List To 5 Schools, Villanova Out

Philadelphia Vaux Roberts guard Rysheed Jordan cut his list of schools to 5 - UCLA, Maryland, Syracuse, Rutgers and Temple.

2013 PG Rysheed Jordan has been consistently listed on our 2013 recruiting big boards, but it looks like it may be time to move on. Per Adam Zagoria, Jordan is focusing on 5 schools - UCLA, Maryland, Temple, Syracuse and Rutgers.

Jordan is in the process of scheduling official visits, with UCLA getting one in late September and Maryland in early October. Jordan's coach indicated he likely wouldn't take all of his official visits and could announce a commitment anytime in the next few weeks.

This leaves just Andrew Harrison on the big board for PG prospects - and that remains a longshot option at best. Despite Jordan being a local prospect, this isn't particularly devastating news because Villanova's needs remain in the frontcourt, not the backcourt and we're in good shape with Ja'Quan Newton in 2014.
