#82 WR Vinnie Gatti
Senior, 5'9" 175 lbs.
2012 Stats: Gatti didn't accumulate any stats in 2012.
Depth Chart Position: With a stacked receiving corps and a career history of not receiving much playing time on game-days, Gatti shouldn't be expected to pop up on a Saturday two-deep this Fall. The walk-on receiver from Indiana, Pennsylvania is a fall-back option at wide receiver but might be able to contribute on special teams in 2013.
How He Came To Villanova: Another preferred walk-on recruit, Gatti didn't get a whole lot of recruiting love, but chose to attend Villanova. As a high school running back, Gatti was known for his sure hands, but the 'Cats have converted the undersized runner into a receiver at the college level. He also played basketball at Indiana High School as a guard.
Expected Output In 2013: Gatti can be expected to see most of his playing time on special teams this season, if he gets on the field at all. The expectation levels for him aren't massive, but some level of productive output or hustle plays on the field will be a benefit to the team. Plus, he's not so bad at playing guitar either.
