Two Villanova football players make Sports Network Preseason All-America team

The Sports Network is the biggest name in FCS football journalism, so when their pre- and post-season award lists are generally held in high-regard by observers of the subdivision. TSN's 2013 preseason All-America team was released this week and 14 CAA football athletes names were on the list.

That number includes two Villanova Wildcats, Antoine Lewis and Dan Shirey. Lewis, a defensive tackle, was a First-Team selection on defense. Shirey, who will start at either Guard or Center on the offensive line, was picked on the Third-Team offense after sitting out the 2012 season.
