We've seen prototypes of the jersey before, but we just brushed the idea off or thought it would be a training jersey. Nike thought otherwise.
According to Jeff Eisenberg, Villanova will sport an alternate jersey for the Wildcats' January 30th matchup at Notre Dame. Since 'Nova has been known to sport alternative "retro" jerseys, I guess these would be considered alternate-alternates.
Although the jersey is cringe-worthy, at least it's not camouflage (right Georgetown? or UConn, or Syracuse, or North Carolina, or Michigan State...).
