Villanova sophmore Darrun Hilliard has been named BIG EAST Player of the Week for his efforts in Villanova's upsets of #5 Louisville and #3 Syracuse last week.

Hilliard averaged 18 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists as unranked Villanova defeated the pair of Top 5 teams as he shot 11-17 (65%) from the floor including 4-10 from 3-Point.

For the season, the 6'6" guard from Bethlehem's Liberty High School is avergaing 10.8 points per game, 1.4 assists, and 3.4 boards a contest.
