Former Villanova Wildcats stars Allan Ray and Mouphtaou Yarou matched up in Adriatic League action on Sunday afternoon when Ray's KK Cedevita faced Yarou's Radnicki KG. Cedevita got the win in convincing fashion 80-65, but it was Yarou who had the better game between the two alumni.
In 29 minutes of action, Yarou talled 7 points and 8 rebounds in the loss. Ray had a tougher night, going 0-6 from the floor along with 3 turnovers in 17 minutes. Ray added 2 rebounds to his stat line.
The win moved Cedevita to 6-2 in Adriatic League action, where they currently sit in second place. Radnicki KG fell to 3-5 in the league, and they fell into tenth place with the loss. Both teams will return to Eurobasket action in the next few days. KK Cedevita face Spain's Bilbao on Tuesday, while Radnicki KG take on Greece's Panionios the same day.
