For the Villanova fans looking to follow Maalik Wayns, he can now be found playing for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the the NBA's D-League. Since his 10-day contract extension with the Philadelphia 76ers lapsed into the darkness on January 17th, the former Villanova point guard was assigned the Houston Rockets' affiliate.
The Vipers' roster also includes the names of Terrence Jones, Vernon Macklin, and Wesley Witherspoon.
Wayns is avergaing 12.5 points and 3.5 assists per game for the Hidalgo, TX based team.
