Denver Lacrosse to Big East?

Drew Hallowell

Inside Lacrosse is noting that multiple sources are informing them that the Denver Pioneers will be bolting the ECAC and join the Big East for men's lacrosse

Coached by Bill Tierney, who led Princeton to 6 national titles, the Pioneers have appeared in two Final Fours in the past three years including a 9-8 loss in this year's national semifinals to Syracuse.

A timeline has not been confirmed, but Denver would join Villanova, St. John's, Georgetown, Providence, and Marquette in the the New Big East.
