Big East Bubble Watch Part 2

Locks:

Villanova. Non-conference wins against over Kansas and Iowa make the WildCats assured, without a total meltdown.

Should be In:

Creighton. RPI puts them in at 16, but they lack any eye popping wins.

Xavier: RPI is 36 and the non-conference win against Cincy is looking really solid.

Work to be done:

Georgetown: Georgetown is doing their best to play themselves out of the tournament. Another horrible loss, drops them to 58 in the RPI. Wins against Kansas State and VCU are great, but losses against Seton Hall and Northeastern are head scratching. Also, they lost opportunities against Xavier and Providence. Currently, I think they are last 4 in or, or first 4 out. Big game against Michigan State at the Garden on February 1st. A win there, erases a lot of sins.

Providence: They cracked the top 50 RPI with a win over Creighton, but that is there only win over a top 50 RPI opponent year to date. 9 of their 14 wins are over teams that rank 100 or worse in RPI, and 6 are against RPI opponents of 150 or more! Seton Hall is there only really bad loss (Maryland, not great). Currently, I have them on the outside looking in, but the win over Creighton means that there resume will at least get evaluated by the committee.
