Villanova: Good week for the Wildcats with convincing victories over Xavier and Seton Hall. One more win, they go into "Mortal Lock Status", which means they could lose out and still get a bid.
Creighton: Rough week for Creighton. Win against DePaul and loss against St. John's on the road. Apparently, McDermott got shut out the last 8 minutes of the game. Did St. John's find the formula to defeat this team? I think they are two wins away from Mortal Lock status, as they do not have the out of conference victories that the Wild Cats do.

Work to do:
Georgetown: No let down for the Hoya's after a stunning upset over MSU, with wins over DePaul and Butler. There may be some disagreement here, but I think they have the most attractive resume of the Big East Bubble Teams, due to their ability to knock off major competition (MSU, KSU and VCU).
Xavier: Up and down week. After getting spanked by Villanova, they took out Providence. RPI sits at 46. I think they make it in the tourney, if selecting today, mostly due to their non-conference victory over Cincy.
Providence: What a horrible week for the Friars. Losses against St. John's (at home )and Xavier. A home win over Creighton is the only thing that stands out. If selecting today, I would have them NIT bound.
St. John's: Could this be the team that surges at the end of the year and takes the conference by "Storm"? No team helped their cause more this week than St. John's. A road win over Providence and a home win over Creighton. Solid week. Computer numbers are not there yet and 8 of their wins have come over teams with RPI's exceeding 150 (and ugly losses to Penn State and DePaul), but based on their big week, they make the list. NIT bound if selecting today, but they put themselves in position to play their way in the tourney
