TGIF, ‘Nova Nation! Pausing from basketball for a moment, I want to write a quick few words about Coach Andy Talley. Saturday is his last regular season football game. Hell, it could be his last football game.
Talley is retiring after the season, and while Villanova is in good shape for a playoff berth, they really need to beat Delaware to feel safe on Selection Sunday. After all of his success, we know his team will be up for it.
But whenever his last game may be, he’ll be gone sooner than we’re ready. He’s a great coach and even better person. His legacy will live on long after he’s gone through his Be The Match program.
Here’s to you Coach. You’ve been an amazing asset and leader to our great University.
(More to come after he’s actually gone. Go kick some Chicken ass!)
And now, the "news."
