After a couple of exhibition wins, the United Stats begins group play this morning in the U19 FIBA World Championships. Incoming freshman guard Jalen Brunson was impressive in the buildup to the tournament, and should play a major role on Arizona head coach Sean Miller's team. He'll be flanked by Providence's Ed Cooley and Dayton's Archie Miller as the Americans try to repeat as world champions.
The U-19 team is made of of three age groups - rising college sophomores, incoming freshman, and rising high school seniors. Kentucky-bound Isaiah Briscoe was replaced by Virginia Tech's Justin Bibbs following a head injury during training camp.
