The 'Nova signal-caller looks set to start for a Villanova team searching to make the FCS playoffs.

According to Joe Juliano of the Philadelphia Inquirer, citing a Villanova official, QB John Robertson is on track to start Saturday against Delaware after clearing the required concussion tests and practicing this week with the offense.

Robertson suffered the injury in last week's victory over James Madison late in the game and was relieved by Chris Polony, who in turn led 'Nova on a touchdown drive.

Robertson's return would be a big boost for the Villanova offense, as the Wildcats look to win the Battle of the Blue against rivals Delaware. A win would keep Villanova alive for the CAA championship. Even without the auto-bid that comes along with the conference championship, Villanova would remain a strong candidate for an at-large bid to the FCS playoffs with a victory in the regular season finale.
