Stay connected for news and updates

Eric Hartline-US PRESSWIRE

The playoff bracket for the 20-team FCS football tournament will be revealed on Sunday.

In case you missed it, yesterday was a very good day for Villanova. 'Nova mauled Delaware in the regular season finale 41-10 en route to grabbing a share of the 2012 CAA championship, and because everything else went there way in the other games, they won the conference tiebreaker and received the CAA auto-bid to the FCS playoffs.

The FCS playoffs selection show will air on ESPNU at 1:30 pm ET today, and we will update you here as it unfolds.

As of yesterday, NoBowls.com is predicting that Villanova will play Southern Conference champions Georgia Southern in their first game in Statesboro, GA. Keep in mind that Brian confirmed that Villanova has bid on a home football game and believe their bid is competitive.

They are also predicting that Old Dominion will get the #3 seed while New Hampshire and Richmond also receive at-large bids. James Madison and Towson appear to be on the outside looking in.
