Villanova Football drops from FCS Top 25

Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

It was not unexpected; following the Wildcats' 31-21 loss at James Madison, Villanova has dropped from The Sports Network's FCS Top 25 Poll that was released earlier on Monday.

North Dakota State remains the top dog in the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision following their Bye Week raking in all 159 1st place votes.

Maine leads six CAA teams in the Top 25 as the Black Bears have been tabbed at the #8 spot. Towson (#13), Delaware (#15), James Madison (#22), William & Mary (#23), and New Hampshire (#25) round out the conference's representation.
