Villanova Football is heading back to the FCS Playoffs, extending Andy Talley’s tenure into the postseason one final time.

The Wildcats will face Saint Francis (Pa.) at home next Saturday at 2pm ET. The Red Flash went 7-4 this year and 5-1 in the Northeast Conference. The game will be broadcast on ESPN3.
Villanova and Saint Francis both played Towson and Albany this year. The’ Cats went 2-0 against their CAA rivals, while Saint Francis went 0-2.

Villanova’s road to FCS Championship game in Frisco, Texas includes potential matchups at #8 seed South Dakota State and five-time reigning national champion and #1 seed North Dakota State.
Four teams each made the field from the CAA, SoCon, Big Sky and Missouri Valley conferences.
