Tyreke Evans from American Christian, the highest unsigned player in the class of '08, will be named a McDonald's All-American today. Villanova is still one of the top choices for Tyreke, but is headed to Memphis this weekend. Louisville, Texas, and UConn are also on his final list, but Evans was unable to travel to Louisville recently due to his grandfather's death.
Another point of interest for Villanova fans is that Tyreke's squad will be playing St. Anthony on Thursday (21Feb) at 9p ET on ESPN in HD. The Jersey City school coached by legend Bob Hurley features Villanova recruit Dominic Cheek who is a Junior.
