Rivals.com is reporting that Villanova Recruit Dominic Cheek from St. Anthony's in Jersey City is establishing himself as the top Wing at the USABasketball U18 National Team Tryouts.
'Nova Commit Maalik Wayns, earned this comment:
Wayns matched up well with [Kemba] Walker, and in a sense is the Walker of the 2009 class. He has terrific strength with the basketball and has a burst of speed. He passed the ball well but didn't score during the scrimmage.

RUNNING THE POINT: The team only has three legitimate point guards in Walker, Villanova-bound Maalik Wayns and UCLA commit Malcolm Lee and Lee did not distinguish himself. Walker and Wayns seem almost automatic.
