Hoops Mania, Villanova's annual basketball season tip-off, has been set for Friday, October 24th at the Pavilion with a tentative time of 630p to open the doors.
The Blue/White scrimmage will be part of the evening, but other details are being figured out.
Originally known as Midnight Madness throughout the country, many schools celebrate the first day of official practice with a campus pep rally (and their own names for the festivities). This year's date is October 17th. Since that is in the middle of Villanova's Semester Recess, the Wildcats Hoops Team will celebrate with the student body a week later.
