More To Life -- Nova Football

villanova-footbalDick Weiss of the NY Daily News writes that there has been some discussion at The Big East football meetings in Rhode Island about inviting Villanova’s football program to join the league. There is also speculation reported elsewhere that the Big East might attempt to recruit Boston College or Maryland to the Big East. Dick Weiss claims that Villanova’s football program is currently losing $4 million a year in Division I-AA and would need to move their home games from the Main Line to Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles. Villanova has been selected as the co-favorite of the Colonial Athletic Association for the 2009 season.
