Playing before a home crowd and on national television, the Wildcats showed why they are FCS contenders by remaining undefeated at 5-0 and defeating #5 William and Mary, 28-17. The Cats next play # 6 New Hampshire. Sophomore cornerback James Pitts was the star for the Cats, with two takeaways that led to Villanova touchdowns. Pitts finished with a game-high 15 tackles. He dedicated the game to his 4-year-old stepbrother, who drowned last week.
