Nova Potpourri: Gilchrist Visit ... Mouph Finds Himself on Yet Another Preseason List

gilcrist1Michael Gilchrist did indeed visit Villanova this weekend. The Philadelphia Inquirer reported today that the country's top recruit, regardless of class, sat with members of Villanova's basketball team to watch Nova defeat William & Mary on Saturday at Villanova Stadium.

yarou-augustYesterday, Chris Dobbertean of SBNation (Who you say? OK, take it with a grain of salt) posted his All-Frosh teams. Mouphtaou Yarou was selected as center on the third team with the following commentary: "The Cats were a fairly small, guard-oriented team last season, yet still made the Final Four. Yarou is an athletic big man who can rebound and play good defense, and has becoming more of a scoring threat, particularly with his back to the basket. High school teammate Isiah Armwood also joins him at Nova, but Yarou may be a bit more physically ready to play inside at the Big East level."
