Villanova (5-1, 1-1 CAA) lost by a score of 28-24 yesterday before a homecoming crowd at No. 5 New Hampshire. The Cats led by two-points entering the fourth quarter, but squandered another scoring opportunity after Tamai Young blocked punt that gave Nova the ball at New Hampshire's 11-yard line. That misstep would prove decisive, as New Hampshire scored two field goals in the final period to take a lead it would not relinquish. On Saturday, Villanova travels to James Madison, which lost yesterday to top-ranked Richmond, 21-17.
