With Hoops Mania kicking off the Villanova Basketball Season tonight, speculation abounds as to whom the guest performer will be- if there is one.

So what about 2009?
Of course the popular thought (hope/prayer) is for Jay Z, who, again, is performing at the Wachovia Center on the same day as Hoops Mania. Keri Hilson, Jada Kiss, Trey Songz, Day 26, Pleasure P, Mario, Jeremih, Paper Dept & Meek Mill will also be performing with Jay Z.
Getting Jay Z in the Pavilion would be a gigantic coup. It probably won't happen. But having JayZ's "Roc Boys" play as the opening to this Hoops Mania promo is just a tease right? Yeah... a tease. Has to be.
