JayVaughn Pinkston Commits

As we were first to report via Twitter, Bishop Loughlin's senior Small Forward JayVaughn Pinkston has given the verbal commitment to play basketball at Villanova.

A press conference is scheduled for tomorrow at noon, but the NY Post has confirmed that the 6'6" Pinkston has already given his word to head coach Jay Wright.

JayVaughn is rated #35 by Scout, #67 by Rivals, and #100 by ESPN.

He joins James Bell and Markus Kennedy in Coach Wright's 2010 Recruiting Class. The Tennessee Volunteers are considered to be the runner-up for Pinkston.

Curtis Sumpter also came to the Main Line from Loughlin.

Welcome to the Villanova Basketball Family JayVaughn!
