Villanova (10-1) recovered from last week's loss to Temple with a huge 96-58 win over Fordham (2-7).
The game also marked the return of senior Reggie Redding. Redding contributed 11 points in the first half. He finished with 15 points on 6-8 shooting (2-3 3 FG) while leading the Wildcats in rebounding with 9. He also added 3 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks.
Scottie Reynolds, Corey Fisher, and Antonio Pena each scored 17 points for the Wildcats who will face Delaware at the Pavilion on Wednesday.
Villanova used a 30-4 run over 10 minutes in the second half to put the Rams away. The Cats also used a 44-25 rebound difference and forced 7 more turnovers. 'Nova also limited Fordham to 16.7% (4-24) from behind the arc.
