Scottie Reynolds was named the Big East Player of the Week after he averaged 31.5 points and shot 68.0 percent from the field in Villanova’s 2-0 week, extending the Wildcats’ winning streak to seven games.
He scored 36 points on 9-of-10 shooting, including 30 points after halftime, in a 92-84 overtime win at Louisville and had 27 points in an 82-77 win against Georgetown.
Reynolds, who has scored at least 20 points in eight of his last 10 games, ranks fourth in the BIG EAST in scoring at 19.3 points per game.
