Villanova has moved up to #2 in both the AP and ESPN/USA Today's Coaches Polls behind Kansas.
This marks the third time that 'Nova has reached #2. The 'Cats also reached the spot for two weeks in December 1995 and February 2006.
The Wildcats received four 1st Place votes in both polls this week.
In the AP, Syracuse received six 1st place votes and is ranked 3rd, but is 4th in the ESPN Poll).
West Virginia & Georgetown are at #6 and #7 respectively as the BIG EAST has 4 schools in the AP Top 7.
Charles Goldberg from The Birmingham News (AL), Jack Bogaczyk from the Charlestown Daily Mail (WV), Scott Mansch from the Great Falls Tribune (MT), and Scott Wolff from the LA Daily News (CA) all tabbed 'Nova at the #1 spot in the AP Poll.
