Villanova Sinks Seton Hall

Villanova used a 16-4 run over 5 minutes in the second half to distance themselves from Seton Hall en route to a 81-71 win.

The victory puts 'Nova at 20-1 on the season and keeps the Wildcats undefeated on the BIG EAST season at 9-0.

Scottie Reynolds scored 15 points crossing the 2,000 point barrier becoming the 8th Villanovan to accomplish the feat. Antonio Pena led VU with 16 points. Corey Fisher added 12 and Corey Stokes contributed 11.

The 'Cats outrebounded Seton Hall 43-26 as they gave Jay Wright his 6th consecutive 20-win season. The Win also extended Villanova's Win Streak at The Pavilion to 36 Games.

Villanova heads to Washington DC next, to take on Georgetown on Saturday. Tipoff is slated for 12p.
