Update:  Game Time     A total of 36 VUH readers posted predictions, three predicting a Marquette victory.  As a group, the readers see ‘Nova winning 76-72 (a margin of 4.0 points and implied total points of 148.  The scatter graph depicting the readers’ predictions as well as statistical information about Marquette is provided below.

Window Opening:  Wednesday, March 10, 8:00 PM    The window is now open to pick the final score vs. Marquette on Thursday at Madison Square Garden.  So far this season, Villanova (24-6, 13-5) has scored an average of 82.8 points while holding their opponents to 72.6.  Marquette (21-10, 11-7) has scored an average of 73.2 points while holding their opponents to 63.3.  In the first two meetings between the teams on January 2 and January 9, the Cats prevailed both times by a single bucket (74-72 and 78-76).  The table below summarizes the Golden Eagles complete Big East game results so far this season.
