Barney provided this report from court side: "Team Lappas’ bigs gave Porter fits the way Corky Calhoun once did for UPenn. Hubie White and Johnny Jones provided relentless pressure on Kerry Kittles, forcing him to take bad shots. Melchioni and Ingelsby took full advantage of the three-pointer in the 2nd half to force Team Lappas’ to extend its defense, allowing Wali Jones to kick the ball inside to a frustrated Howard Porter to put a few exclamation points on the win."
