Baltimore City High School shooting guard, Nick Faust, is set to make an official visit to Villanova this weekend for Hoops Mania according to the Baltimore Sun.
A standout in the classroom, the 6'5" Class of 2011 player will check out "the university's academic programs and support systems" on his visit.
Interestingly Faust notes that the Villanova staff was involved early. But the staff's interest waned "because the couldn't get who they wanted".
Faust is rated #42 by Rivals and #41 by Scout. The Shooting Guard tore up the Spring and Summer AAU circuit, a tear that saw his rankings jump nearly 100 spots due to his sniping accuracy from distance and his ability off the bounce to slice to the basket.
During the NBA PA Top 100 Camp, he was given the honors as "The Most Promising Prospect".
