BIG EAST Basketball Power Rankings: Week 1

Andrew Porter over at The UConn Blog was kind enough to host this year's BIG EAST Basketball Power Rankings, which will occur on a bi-weekly basis during the OOC schedule, and move to a weekly poll once conference play begins.

A single representative from all the BIG EAST blogs on SB Nation are participating, and we've reached out to our friends from around the internet to fill out the remaining slots. It's a simple format - we all list the teams in order. 16 points awarded for

Not much surprise here, in terms of rankings (other than Casual Hoya ranking the Syracuse Orange last - love that), but that's to be expected. VOnce conference play starts (or better yet, we start playing real teams) we'll have a much better idea of who is who this year.
