After their romping of the Marist Red Foxes last night, Villanova is set to take on the Boston U. Terriers after their win over the George Washington Colonials last night. Villanova was very impressive in its opening round win, but BU was as well under former Villanova assistant coach Pat Chambers.
The former Villanova assistant knows the Wildcats well and should be able to at least formulate a capable defensive gameplan (execution is another matter) as the Terriers look to slow down the vaunted Villanova offense.
More impressive than 'Nova's offense however, has been it's defense. Giving up 52 and 47 points to open the season speaks wonders about a team's capability on the defensive end, no matter if it was Marist and Bucknell. Compared to last season, this team looks completely different.
The main key to stopping BU will be stopping Jake O'Brien (20 points against GWU) and John Holland (28 points vs. GWU). They are the main cogs in the Terrier attack, although the entire team has the ability to shoot the ball well. And under Chambers, you know they'll be tough and scrappy as well.

The Nova Blog's Thoughts
I'm a little more concerned about this game after BU dominated George Washington for pretty much the entire game, save the end. They play tough, and they shoot the ball well. Not really a surprise looking at where their coach came from.
Villanova's talent will win out in the end, but this might be closer than any of us will like for most of the game.
