It's finally that time of year again; Villanova has certainly enjoyed their success in the cozy confines of the 6,500-seat Pavilion, but the majority of the remaining home games for the Wildcats will be played at the Wells Fargo Center in downtown Philadelphia. Villanova opens its seven-game Wells Fargo Center slate this coming Saturday December 18th vs. the Delaware Blue Hens.
Although UDel doesn't come across as a very formidable opponent, it's always nice to experience the atmosphere of a Nova game at the arena formerly known as the Wachovia Center. In a sense, the team and the university have found a home in south Philly, as Dick Jerardi of the Philadelphia Daily News points out. Below are some additional links related to the Cats this week.

I will be at the game on Saturday, and it sounds like a few of the other contributors to the blog might be as well. Let us know in the comments section if you plan on going.
